Is there a converter to convert messages in the 1.7x format.

Yes. There is a converter in the 1.8 guestbook zip file under "/converter/converter.php" which converts 1.7.x to 1.8.0 format. Just drop your old "list.txt" file into the "/converter/" folder and run the converter. The converted data will show under "data.xml".

The function "str_ireplace" is a PHP 5 function. Do you have PHP 5 installed?

Pete

Using phpinfo(); on the hosting site, I have found that they have PHP Version 4.4.9.
Does that mean Guestbook v1.8 is not supported?
Thanks,
Norman
