Hello Martina,
Bellow is the corrected data file for your guestbook. I also replied with this file to your email. Simply replace your existing guestbook list.txt data file with this version I am sending you and you should be good to go.
As for the cause of this data corruption, our best guess is that it was due to a problem in writing to the data file, caused by a heavy load on your webserver (usually during peak hours on shared hosting).
Thanks,
Pete

Hi again, something happened, let me tell you:
1.- I've replaced the list.txt file and it shows all the messages perfectly
2.- I've given 777 permissions to the file
3.- I submit a message and the entry worked perfectly
4.- Now it shows the error again
Take a look at:
www.martinaportocarrero.com/gues ... &order=asc
I've tried replacing it again with your file but it's still not working.
Maybe you can tell me what should I change on the file to do it myself and not bother you
Thank you very much

Martina,
Something related to your servers PHP read/write is corrupting the data file. This is not something typically encountered by users and is related specifically to "Your" server.
You can grab the data file from my original email and replace your existing one and it should work again. If I were you though I would contact the web server administrator and ask them about the write to file issue you are having. They may be able to track down the root of the problem.

thanks or the answer, I've replaced the file with the one you send me but It shows the following error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /guestbook/list.php on line 97
The first time I've replaced it, it worked perfect, but now is showing that error again. You can take a look at the following link if you want:

The problem is not with the guestbook. You need to contact your webhost and have them look into the file write issue. Not much else I can do to help you. Sorry.
