Can you please specify your Server Operating System (Windows 2003, Linux, etc...) and your server software name (IIS 6.0, apache, etc....) along with your PHP version (found using the phpinfo(); command)?

Usually this problem is related to the domain and/or IP you specify in the Configuration file. Can you post your configuration file content here?

Hi, I am currently testing version 1.7.1 guestbook with five others. Two of them got a verification error when they tried to write a message. One of them tried again (I suggested three times) and it failed on the first attempt and work on the following two attemps :!: I am waiting for the other person to get back to me when he has tried further testing. When I was testing a few days ago, I got a verification error and put it down to a mistake on my part, now I am beginning to wonder. I have not studied the image verification coding so I cannot offer any possible reason for this.

The image verification code is fine. It seems though that the server environment and php settings may be a factor in the error you are receiving. What type of Server OS, Web Server, PHP version and GD Library are you using (versions)?

I did put the some information about the server in another thread but here it is agian.

Server O/S - Linux
PHP version - 4.4.2
Server API - Apache

How do I find the GD Library version?
